Uploading Custom Product Images to BoxFox


BoxFox uses UPC data to automatically pull product images; however, our system is sometimes unable to locate an image match. Product images provide the buyers on BoxFox with more information and increase their level of confidence in your inventory.

Please note that you must provide a direct link to just the image itself. Here's how:


If your product images are not already hosted online:

1) Visit a free image upload site (we recommend postimage.org because it's free, quick, and easy). Click the 'Choose images' button and select the file from your computer that you'd like to upload.

2) After uploading your file, click the 'Copy to Clipboard' button next to the 'Direct Link' field.


3) Paste that Image URL in the 'Image' column next to its corresponding product in your inventory spreadsheet. You can download a template spreadsheet here.



4) Please upload only one image per product. BoxFox will use these links to display your product images to our network of buyers.


If your product images are already hosted online:

1) If your product images are already online, just hover over the image and right click on 'Copy Image URL'.

Please note: Product images uploaded to Dropbox or Google Drive cannot be accessed by our system and will not display properly on our site. Please migrate your images over to another hosting service (such as postimage.org).


2) Important: Make sure that the URL you provide is a direct link to just the product image itself (no other content on the page).

3) Paste that Image URL in the 'Image' column next to its corresponding product in your inventory spreadsheet. You can download a template spreadsheet here.

4) Please upload only one image per product. BoxFox will use these links to display your product images to our network of buyers.


Note: If you use a Point of Sale system, you might be able to export a list of your product images from there.
